ABOUT US

The Bridge Studio is a classic, large-format “big room”, analog and digital recording and video production studio. This custom-built content creation hub features Pro Tools HD 32 I/O, 2-inch Studer 24 track analog tape machine, a fully restored Harrison 4032c 40-channel analog recording console (same series the Thriller album was recorded on), a baby grand Yamaha and Steinway Grand piano, and more. The Bridge Studio also boasts an 874 sq. ft. live room w/ 15 ft ceilings, vocal booth, large booth / production room, and pristine acoustic design by owner Amon Drum. The Bridge Studio team has welcomed a myriad of artists from Mark Ronson & YEBBA, Roseanne Cash, Il Divo, David Miller, Run The Jewels & DJ Shadow, Parquet Courts, Booker T, Stretch & Bobbito, Gael Faye, Sly 5th Ave, Falu, Frozen on Broadway and other Broadway-bound productions to media companies including Amazon Studios, Spotify, Tidal, Broken Record Podcast, and CBS This Morning's Saturday Sessions featuring Chris Thile, Adeline, Margaret Glaspy, and Craig Finn.

For 7 years before The Bridge Studio, owners Amon Drum and Mona Kayhan ran The Hook Studio, which was home to many GRAMMY-award winning and touring artists who were looking for a warm sound and musical haven. After being forced to relocate due to the selling of the building, The Bridge Studio was their custom-built answer to a growing need in NYC for a big room that could capture the highest quality recording while fostering collaboration in an inspiring environment. As Chief Engineer, Amon oversees all recording and mixing projects done at The Bridge, and manages the incredible team known for its technical excellence and great vibes. The Bridge Studio also hosts listening sessions, VIP gatherings, and is a private showroom for HEDD Audio. 

GEAR

The centerpiece of our studio is a Harrison 4032 recording console from the late 70’s, which started its career in Westlake Studio in Santa Monica, moved to New Jersey before ending up in its home with us in Brooklyn.

Versatile space

The live tracking room, more than 800 sq. ft., is designed to be able to not only record an orchestra, but also serve as a creative space to host photo shoots, produce videos with high-quality audio capture, intimate live performances, or VIP listening sessions. 

WHO WE ARE

The Bridge Studio is owned and operated by Chief Engineer, Producer, and percussionist Amon and Mona Kayhan. The Bridge Studio engineers are known for their ability to capture the best sounds, using best practices, all while maintaining the best vibes. #alwaysrollin
