Join us on Tuesday, April 29th at 8:00pm for another intimate live recording session curated by Solomon Gottfried at The Bridge featuring guitarist, composer, and producer Tim Watson featuring his Guitar trio with Dion Kerr on Bass and Craig Weinrib on Drums. Known for his fearless genre-crossingโfrom jazz and free improvisation to Carnatic fusion and ambient popโWatson brings a boundary-pushing spirit and deep musicality to everything he touches.
At just 24, Tim has already toured internationally, performed with legends like Ignacio Berroa and Joel Ross, and premiered works with artists as varied as JACK Quartet and Anantha R. Krishnan. His most recent project, Hostile Architecture, explores the intersections of South Indian classical rhythm, minimalism, and electro-acoustic experimentation.
In this intimate, one-night-only performance, Watson will present his guitar trio as part of Live From The Bridge, the intimate recording series hosted at The Bridge Studio. With a small audience present in the same acoustically pristine tracking room as the performance, every moment of this live performance will be recorded live by The Bridge Studioโs expert engineersโcapturing the energy, nuance, and immediacy of the moment for all time.
Live From The Bridge is a recording series capturing artists in real-time performance, with a small audience present inside our acoustically pristine live room. Attendees become part of the momentโand part of the record.
๐ง This installment is curated by Solomon Gottfried.
